Convert WebP to JPG

Turn WebP images saved from websites into JPGs that open anywhere. Free, private, and processed in your browser.

🔒 Files never leave your device

Many sites serve images as WebP, which some older apps, editors and upload forms still won't accept. Convert them to universally supported JPG in one click.

How to use the WebP to JPG tool

  1. Choose or drop your images. You can convert several at once.
  2. Adjust quality if the output format supports it (JPG and WebP).
  3. Download the converted files.

Frequently asked questions

Is the conversion done online?

The page is online, but the conversion isn't. Your browser decodes and re-encodes the image locally, and no file is sent anywhere.

Does converting lose quality?

Converting to PNG is lossless. JPG and WebP are lossy, but at the default 92% quality the difference is very hard to see. Lower the slider for smaller files.

What happens to transparency?

PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPG can't store it, so transparent pixels are filled with white.

Is there a file size or count limit?

There's no fixed limit. Very large images (more than about 50 megapixels) may be slow or fail on phones with little memory.
