Frequently asked questions
Is my document uploaded?
No. Your document is opened and converted inside your browser, so it never leaves your device. That makes it safe for contracts, CVs and other private files.
Will the PDF look exactly like Word?
Text, headings, lists, tables, images and page size come across well for typical documents. Complex layouts, such as text boxes, unusual fonts or multi-column designs, may shift slightly. Check the preview before saving. If you have Word itself, File → Save As → PDF gives a perfect copy.
Why does a print window open?
Your browser's built-in Save as PDF creates a high-quality PDF with real, selectable and searchable text. Just set the destination to Save as PDF.
Can I convert an old .doc file?
Only .docx is supported. Open the .doc in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice, save it as .docx, then convert it here.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. On Android, choose Save as PDF as the printer. On iPhone, tap Print, then the Share button, then Save to Files.
